This score was a very personal one to me as it was completely shot in my home town of London, Ontario, Canada and features a whole cast and crew of London as well. It is also a Coming of Age film, which is one of my all time favourite movie genres. So I knew I had to something really special for it. What emerged was this slick Post-Rock/Pop-Rock score, with themes that follow ideas very uncommon for film scores.

Since the film follows a huge list of characters and we only had so many scenes that needed score, I decided it best to write 3 main themes that follow the stages of life that each of these characters go through: Movement, Stillness, and Regression.

Though there are some other minor themes in the film, such as a love motif, a motif for everyday life activities and a theme for one of the characters, Laurel, I found focusing on themes that depicted life's movement was far more effective for the film.

Enjoy!
